About Cass

I started blogging back in 2000 over at livejournal, because I needed an outlet for my thoughts. Writing is my most comfortable form of self expression. If you met me in real life, you won’t find me going into full details on how my weekend or trip went, or how I feel about something. I prefer to do that over photos and written words ;)

My blog has been the trusty pal I turn to whenever I have something to share – hobbies, thoughts and musings on life, experiences with family and friends. Be it baking, crazy things I try for fun (e.g. cosplay?!), new ventures, gatherings with friends, or simply just thoughts running circles around in my head needing to get out.

Through the years the hobby that grew with me was baking. I love how the simplest ingredients can be put together to create something so delicious – it’s like magic. That, and I’m an absolute lover of butter and vanilla. This blog also serves as my recipe archive, so expect to see posts on recipes I love, documentation of recipes I’m trying to perfect, and experimental baking posts.

Please feel free to drop me an email at angelfeathers@gmail.com if you have any questions, or any stories and recipes to share. Cheers!

  1. Hi there! I’m following your blog, and I realized that you had a ‘follow me on pinterest’ button. Can I ask how you did that? Because I can’t seem to find it myself..

    • Hi Scarlett, apologies for the late reply. I used a text in widgets, and linked it with html to my pinterest :) If you are interested I could email you the code. Let me know, cheers!

  2. Thanks so much for including my site in your blog roll, Cass! I’m so glad to hear that you draw inspirational from it–means a lot to me! Have a wonderful week! :)

    • Hey Jacqueline, thanks for popping by! Your site and experiences has been inspiring and thought-provoking, so I would like to thank you for sharing them! I read ‘Why turning 29 is worth rocking’ last year, and it felt really close to heart as I’m turning 29 this year ;)

Cheers and have a great week ahead too!
